About Sobaek Labor Law Office
Sobaek: protecting the lives and rights of working people

Our philosophy
The three principles of Sobaek Labor Law Office
These are the principles we follow when we represent injured workers and the families of workers who have died.
You shouldn't have to carry the cost of treatment and living expenses alone.
Sobaek means "the mountain that saves people." We meet people who, after getting hurt at work, are worried about medical bills and even the money to live on right now. We want to make sure no one misses out on compensation just because they didn't know about it, and to help you keep life going with your family while you get treatment.
We take the time to understand your work before we represent you.
Managing Labor Attorney Wonil Son handled workers' comp matters on the front lines of corporate safety and health. Even in the same occupation, the actual work and the strain it puts on the body can be very different. We'll listen closely to what you did and how you did it, then explain to KCOMWEL how that work relates to your illness or accident.
Even the decision to hire us should work in your favor.
We won't talk you into hiring us by telling you what you want to hear. We'll explain the real challenges and costs first. We'll avoid unnecessary fights, but we'll firmly protect the rights that matter. Explaining each choice and why we're making it, so you can understand it easily and decide for yourself, is the responsibility Sobaek holds itself to.
What we do
From workers' comp claims to denial appeals.
We represent workers and their families in workers' comp claims, requests for review and reconsideration after a denial, and claims for permanent disability benefits and survivors' benefits. We also represent clients in employment cases such as unfair dismissal remedy applications, unpaid wages, and workplace harassment.
